Dr Shu Ho MD (Wales) FRCP (London) FRCP (Ireland)

I have been a Consultant Physician with interest in Care of Elderly Medicine at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in Shropshire, UK since 1999. I started this course in October 1998 (whilst I was a Senior Registrar in Cardiff) because I felt, and still feel, that we can provide a comprehensive clinical course which offers a balance of feedback about examination technique and presentation, history and communication skills, and seeing clinical signs.

I care passionately for teaching and our candidates. The excellent reputation of our course has taken time to build up, such that the majority of our candidates hear about our course through word-of-mouth. We are very grateful to our loyal group of lecturers and patients.

I am a Consultant Physician and Pharmacologist at Llandough Hospital, Cardiff. I have been involved with organising the Cardiff MRCP course with Dr Ho since 1999. I am equally passionate about teaching and have a vast experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in medicine and therapeutics.

This course provides excellent revision and preparation for the PACES examination, and I am proud to be associated with it.
